Excellent customer service and understanding. Joanne Jonovich was outstanding. She is the epitome of the ‘future’ funeral director and understands that the times are changing.

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Fred Jennings can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: nancy rychel
Condolence: i work at Syme 55+ Centre and met Fred there in 2008. He loved to laugh and dance and eat but, mostly Fred loved to be with all of his friends @ Symes. He travelled with the group and did quiet kind things for people not needing anyone to make a fuss of him. He will be sadly missed by all of us on Fridays at lunch. Three cheers to a great guy.

Condolence From: Ann Cremisio
Condolence: For many, many years, Fred was a favourite uncle, not a whole lot older, but old enough to cross the road, take the streetcar and go out at night with his friends. He still lived at home, didn't have a girlfriend, hung out with Billie Duncan around the corner, talked to me as a person, and was lots of fun. I remember when he started with the Post Office, dressed in his uniform, marching up and down the hallway, like a proud warrior.
He took me to a movie at the "Parkdale Movie Theatre". It was listed as "adult entertainment" because it said the word "pregnant" but he didn't care. He got me in anyway. Fred was the youngest of the Jennings brood and it is fitting that he is the last to leave us. Right to the end he attended every family gathering and he will be missed. Rest in Peace "Freddie".
