Excellent customer service and understanding. Joanne Jonovich was outstanding. She is the epitome of the ‘future’ funeral director and understands that the times are changing.

Memories of Aunt Lina

I can remember when my grandparents and my aunt Lina lived at 66 Harrison. Every Sunday we would go for lunch and afterwards our aunt would bring Joe, Terry and myself upstairs to one of the vacant rooms and play school with us.Of course she was the teacher and would teach us how to spell. Aunt Lina would roll down the white roller blind and use it as a chalk board. After our lesson it would be time to go home, she would line us up and say "let's see if you are taller than your Aunt Lina". Of course we were still young and shorter than her. I also remember endless hours spent with my Aunt Lina creating scrap books for her favouite band - The Beatles. She would have their latest albums and we would listen to the music and of course dance. Our Aunt Lina would know all the words to every Beatle song !

I don't know if you know this but our Aunt Lina was a photographer (LOL), she always had a camera so you always had to be prepared for a photo or two.

She loved playing cards, took us to the nearest nickle and dime store, spoiling us with black cat gum, sponge toffee, and anything else that stuck to our teeth. Needless to say our mom wasn't to happy.

These are just some fond memories of our Aunt Lina.

May she rest in peace.
