Condolence From: Debbie-Ann Brown
Condolence: My three favorite memories of my uncle Roy:
I remember uncle Roy making me cocoa tea with freshly grated cocoa and making sure I got whatever my heart desired when I visited Askenish. When Maas Roy spoke, it had to happen.
I remember when Delma told him about my new baby that I named in honor of this amazing family - boy it sweet him. He couldn't believe that was the little girl's first name. Every time we spoke, he asked for confirmation. I was so happy that he was so proud.
And I remember how on my last visit to Canada, my 91 year-old uncle put me to shame because he remembered so much more about the family and its history than I did. What I thought was going to be a boring afternoon with an aging relative, turned out to be one of the most interesting history lessons I have ever had. Uncle Roy's mind was sharp and his voice kind and he was still tickled about little miss Dinham.
You were my favorite uncle. My mother's big brother and my family's torch bearer. Always will you remain in my heart. Always will I cherish those memories.

Condolence: My uncle Roy was blessed with a long life, and even more blessed to spend his last days with nothing less but an outpouring of love and care from his children. It warmed my heart to witness the nurturing and attention he received always. All parents are deserving of such! My heart breaks a little as I won't have the chance to say goodbye, but I will cherish the memories of being around uncle Roy when I visited Canada a few years ago. He was able to identify me, and I was thrilled! Thank you Delma for all those videos you sent when I could not be there, so I could share precious moments with my uncle remotely. My most sincere and deepest condolences to my cousins, though I feel as if we are more sisters than cousins. Sleep in peace my sweet uncle. You are greatly missed!

Condolence: A beautiful soul, full of love and faith, ascended to heaven, away from us, but closer to God, leaving loneliness and sadness. Despite the loss of the physical presence of your father, be comforted in the fact that God has assigned him to watch over you. May the care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead
My most sincere condolences to Delma, Angella, Carol, and the entire Dinham family
