Dear Janet,

My condolences on the loss of your sister, Mary. I always have memories of Mary as a warm and caring person. Mary was a highly respected teacher at North Toronto Collegiate. Mary will be missed by our family, other families that your mother worked for, teaching colleagues and cousins.

Sending love to you,

Bill Teichman

Janet,
I will cherish forever memories of dear Mary as Alice's "Red Queen" at North Toronto and, of course, her absolute control of the third floor corridors during the opening exercises each morning! Tim and I remember fondly your joining Mary for our March Break trip to London and the many happy gatherings at Carole Whelan's home long after retirement. We trust that joyous memories of ":good times" with your wonderful sister will strengthen and sustain you in the coming weeks and months. With our love, Ian and Tim

Oh, the times we've shared! From Toronto to Trieste, from Venice to Valvasone, we have such lovely memories (as well as others ... a.k.a. you-know-who 4.0!). I'II treasure your fierce love, encouragement and support ... and your fabulous lemon meringue pie! Your raucous laugh when you found something truly funny or entertaining, your infinite passion for painting and the arts, and your recent passion for connecting with your Italian roots, which you kindly shared with me. The picture featured here was taken in Valvasone with one of your favourite ancestral family photos. You really did fight the good fight these last years. Rest now my friend. We're here for Janet.
