Dave was my cousin. I remember going to school with Carole before they were married. My Mom & Dad ran the motor license office on George Street North in Brampton and my brother, Billy worked there as well. Our condolences to Carole and the rest of the family.

Lynn and I were shocked to hear of Dave’s passing. We have so many fond memories of Dave from those long-ago years of our youth. I remember having great fun hanging out with the Mara brothers and Bill and Dave, practicing or jamming with the band in Gord and Cora’s living room, the great adventure of touring and playing gigs, Dave’s excitement when he met Carole for the first time and the evolution of their relationship, working with Dave at Canadian Tire part-time while we were at school, skipping classes to hang out at Country Style with a coffee and a donut, and many more. A few years ago, he dropped by our house to show off his Austin Healey sports car and we had a great visit.

Our sincere condolences to Carole and family.
